Financial education workshops and talks

I bring financial education to companies, teams and communities. No jargon, no get-rich-quick promises, and with things people can apply the same day.

Workshops and talks

Why I started giving talks

While I was learning all of this, I also started giving personal finance talks. And something important happened there: I began to see that I was not the only person who needed this information. I heard people say this is exactly what I needed, or why does nobody teach us this.

At university we are taught management, accounting, corporate finance and banking. But where are we taught to handle our own money? Where do we learn to build a budget, to get out of debt, to understand our emotional relationship with money?

There is an enormous need, and almost nobody is meeting it.

What your team gets

An employee living in anxiety over debt does not perform the same. Financial education inside a company is not a decorative benefit: it is one of the few things that lowers people's real stress without depending on a raise.

  • Human language, zero jargon and zero judgment
  • Exercises done inside the session, not homework nobody does
  • Examples grounded in Panamanian reality, not imported templates
  • Support material so they can keep going afterwards

Topics I usually cover

Budgeting and expense control

How to build a budget that holds, how to track expenses without going crazy, and how to spot the small recurring expenses that drain money unnoticed.

Getting out of debt

How to sort debts, on what criteria to attack them, and what has to change in habits so they do not grow back.

Habits and money mindset

Why we buy what we buy, the role emotions play in spending, and how to make purchase decisions without guilt.

Stability and emergency funds

How to build a real cushion, how much each person needs given their situation, and why stability changes the way you decide everything else.

How it is organised

Before the session we have a short call with whoever is organising. That is where I understand who will be in the room: an operations team, a group of middle managers, a community of women entrepreneurs, or a mix. With that I adjust the examples, the pace and the exercises. A talk for twenty people at a bank is not the same as one for forty university students, even if the topic is identical.

What I need from your side is little: a space where people can write, a projector if it is in person, and someone to confirm how many people are coming. The content, the material and the dynamics are on me.

What happens afterwards

A talk that ends when it ends changes nothing. That is why every session closes with an exercise people take away done, not pending, and with support material to keep going on their own. If the company wants to go further, it can become a series of sessions, or the group program can open for those who want to go deeper.

And something I usually ask for: a way to know what happened afterwards. A message two weeks later, a short survey, whatever works. I care that people apply what they heard, not only that they enjoyed it.

Formats

I work from a single forty-five minute talk for an event or a special date, up to a series of sessions for a team that wants sustained change. In person in Panama or virtual for distributed teams.

Frequently asked questions

Can the content be adapted to our team?

Yes, and I recommend it. Speaking to an operations team is not the same as speaking to middle management. Before the session we talk to adjust the examples and the emphasis.

Do you run in-person workshops outside Panama City?

Yes, coordinated based on the date and logistics. I also work virtually for distributed teams.

Do you sell any financial product during the talk?

No. It is educational content. I do not sell financial products and I do not recommend investment instruments.

How do I request a proposal?

Write to me on WhatsApp or fill in the form telling me the team size, the tentative date and what you would like to achieve.

Not sure which one is yours?

Tell me what is happening with your money and I will tell you where I would start.
